Waste Aircraft Tyres
Hi guys! I'm new to the forum - sent here by a friend.
I'm trying to find out what happens to end-of-life aircraft tyres such as those from a Boeing/Airbus etc.
Any one able to shed some light for me?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums,
They tend to get retread. Smaller stuff, light A/C or business jets etc tend to be scrapped.
see
Watts Aviation | Our Products - Retreading Aircraft Tyres
A book online is available all about them, see
Watts Aviation | Technical Data
I hope that helps

Some of the farm tractors round here have tyres marked on the sidewalls with things like 'Max speed 250 MPH' I'm told they are aircraft remoulds.
