NDT qualification?

Hi folks,

Can anyone help me with an NDT related question please.

I'm currently a BS4179 level one on PFD,UT and eddy current testing working in the military rotary environment with 2 years experience.

In order to carry out NDT on the civil side would I need to do further CAA related stuff or is the 4179 qual relevant and valid?

Have trawled the CAA site to no avail.

Many thanks in advance

NDT Qualification

Take a look at CAP 747 on the CAA publications website.
Generic Requirement 23 (GR 23) deals with NDT - towards the end of the document.
