CASA "A" license. Is it a company Authorisation only?

Is there such a thing as a CASA issued "A" license in Australia, or can it only be held as a company authorisation? If it can only be a company authorisation, is there a CASA approved framework which allows a company to set up a training programme which, upon completion, grants individuals the right to hold said license?
