GA B2 to Group 20 B2: reduced SOE hours?

'Ello all, long time lurker, first time poster on here.

I'm an avionics AME, trained in the airlines, so that's where the majority of my experience is from. Having said that however, my eventual hope is to work for a smaller company in a regional setting, rather than with the airlines at the big airports.

So, to my question: if I were to change jobs where I work on GA aircraft and fill out a "Lower Group" SOE in electrical, instrument and radio ratings (and subsequently get a license on non-type rated aircraft), how would that affect my required hours for a Group 20 B2 license? Or would it affect the hours at all? I've searched all over CASA's website, but they seem more interested in talking about the differences between the B1 subcategories.

Cheers in advance!

John
