Headset repair

Used to know a guy who worked for Ravenair and would repair headsets for a lot less than Headset Services Ltd....doesn't need the money anymore.

I have a couple which I think have broken connections and could do with someone who knows what they are doing to have alook at them.

Any ideas / contacts.

Thanks inn advance

It's hardly high-tech rocket science to fit/refit a jack-plug on a headset.

Any retail electronics specialist in Audio/Pop-Group Amplification/Radio&TV etc. should have an engineer able to do this. even the local tv/radio repairer.

Wether the repair can be documented (or needs to be!) to Certified standards is another issue.

If it were my own, I'd do my own repair and keep schtum...if it belongs to someone else,-it's their problem (fair wear and tear.)

My company does all their D&C's on their own, not a big deal.

If you are talking about a David Clark here is a parts list, wire diagram etc
