HELP:- Piper super cub spares

Hello all I need a throttle cable for a Piper super cub, model PA18A-150.

The part number used to be a 12694-03 now a 455-138 but it seems it is no longer available in the UK. I will gladly purchase one from anywhere in the world but ideally need some form of release paperwork (FAA 8130 etc.) for the part as the aircraft is on a C of A.

Any information greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for the suggestions so far.

I spoke to Bill and Sadly McFarlane don't list the throttle cable, they do the the other cables.

I shall e-mail them directly and see if they can help.

Any other suggestions appreciated.

I'll check tomorrow (Monday 4th) - we have three PA18's in various stages of rebuild. it's unlikely but we may well have a spare cable with 8130.

I know this guy (in NL) Aero Service B.V. - Contact used to stock Piper Cubs on the addic many moons ago. Maybe he still has some spares, he's Piper dealer as well.
Do expect to pay top price, he stocked the Cubs for whenever a guy like you was desperate for parts.

Had a quick check but we do not have any spare cables. We did puchase an assembly from Univair back in 2009 so they well have a cable. probably worth checking with them

Try American Legend Aircraft Company out of Texas USA...they produce the Legends Cub a light sport replica of the Cub and also restore original Piper Cubs
