Question Jobs in the UK?

I have been asked to post this question for a friend.

Is there much work for Aircraft Engineers around London and further south?

He is licenced on BAE146, F28, B737, DASH 8 and a variety of smaller aircraft.

Aslo, is British residency required to get some Engineering work in the UK, or will a visa be sufficient?

Cheers

Couldn't agree more! you could take a look at www.aviationjobsearch.com to see what's about. there might be some work available contracting, as i doubt you will get anywhere with the major airlines. Still worth a try though.

Cool

Depending on the airline or company he will need either JAR66 B1 or B2 or ICAO type 2 LWTR preferably UK CAA with full JAR 147 approved courses. Hope that helps.
