In Hassie there is a bunch of Twin Otters and Porters as well as a few 1900Ds, A PT6 powered fleet.
Apparently a new hangar will be moved into soon so you wont have to work outside in the heat and sand in this EASA approved line station. Its a 5 week rotation with accomodations provided, camp life with no reason to go into the town of Hassie, alcohol is frowned upon, pilots especially as everyone is on a standby call out status
Algeria has a no used parts policy because of the auto industry flooding the country with used crap. no one told the authorities about aviation, try running a fleet of 30 yr old Otters with NO used parts. this is a BIG issue.
Zimex is a good company, pay always on time, good training, Hassie not so much.
