Simple stuff from me

Read the question properly, too easy to skim and get the wrong idea.

If you get stuck , skip that question and make a note of it so you can go back at the end. Stops the pressure piling up if you get a few tricky ones at the start.

Manage your time, make sure you know your finish time and keep a good eye on the time all through the exam.

Lastly, I always go through the whole paper again once I'm finished if there's time. You may spot questions you've missed or spot answers that you put the wrong answer down.

Good luck.

RTFQ
manage the time remaining, leave enough time for transferring the ticks/circles from the paper to the computer readable sheet/shading out the tiny rectangles.
RTFQ
Those papers you mention are easy. Wait till M11, M10, M7.

M4 is easy to fail first time if you don't pay attention. The 'blue questions' HTML format are useful, but not 100% accurate. Having said that, not going through them on my first attempt of M4, I failed it. So few questions mean that every one is bigger chunk of percentage. I made sure I did check the 'blue questions' later for the resit.

The question banks are sllightly different depending on college or Gatwick location, though.

yes. as mentioned in the other post,
my RTFQ is important in all part-66 exams. Some catch you out on single word or combination/phrase.

When I sit exams, I go through them, mark those correct answers w arrows/bullets, leave small or big QUESTION MARKS next to those not certain.

Then, once gone through once, note the time remaining and spend some time on those you're not sure.

Go through the paper again, circling or doing big ticks next to questions you consider correct. I do circle them once certain, for easy transfer to the PC readable sheet. For those first couple exams, you dont have to leave too much time, but consider 40+ question exams more for this.

Finally, MAKE SURE YOU TRANSFER CORRECT 1 - A, 2 -C etc. Use thumb etc. Especially if you skip shading out one question you are not sure. Easier to erase and then shade out another option, than being one line wrong for rest of answers.
Never happened to me, as I'm very careful in that, but there were some numpties in the past, honest.

Time permitting at the end, check the final sheet again briefly.

DO NOT change questions too many times after considering the question for a minute max. Chances are your first impression/guess was correct one, unless you omitted something which made the change obvious as the correct one.

Uff. All this should have been mentioned in your class, though. Have fun.
(myself M7 first attempt to go next week and M11 to resit later this year. Rest passed or awaiting results for M9 and M10, with M9 99% sure pass)
