Removing limitations from a EASA B1 ticket

Hi
I am licensed B2 Engineer looking to remove limitation 10 & 11 from my B1 license.
I have 20 plus years experience, the majority of which I have been certifying.
I know what modules I need to sit, so no problem there.
My question is this. I've been hearing that Avionic guys going for their B1
have been told by the CAA that they need to pick up specific experience on skin repairs/composite repairs etc. In other words the normal 2 yrs experience on a/c is not sufficient.
Anybody come across this?
Thanks in advance of any replies.

Thanks Fargo,
Did you get it eventually? How much practical do they require? Bit awkward if you work on the line.
