South African Licenced AME representation

At the moment there is no voice for licences aircraft maintenanced engineers in South Africa, unless you are an accountable manager, or QA manager. We are at the mercy of our employers, and the CAA. We need to accept threats, low salaries with long hours, and for those of us who work offshore, the continous threat of the CAA changing the regulations to prevent us from renewing our licences. After doing some research, we would like to change this situation. We are calling on all licenced aircraft maintenance engineers to join us, and once a groupis formed we will approach Solidarity to represent us, and create a voice for us as LAME's. If you are interested please contact me at [email protected] for more information. The is for Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers only
