Need HELP please

Hi everyone,

am a hodlder of an aircraft maintenance engineering (Maintenance) diploma in Canada and already 18 months of experince required out of the 38 months or so done during the course, my question is:

If i work as a gas turbine technician at an overhaul company or a shop, will be able to write up the EASA 66 or the FAA licesne exam if those engines belong to a US registered aircrafts? will that experince working on only jet engines count ?

Would really appreciate your help ..

Thank you

You should certainly be qualified to receive permission from the FAA to write for your powerplant, depending on your syllabus from the school you went to you may be able to go for the whole ticket. (correction) your AME should allow you to write for the A&P.
