What is an OSIP

Hi guys
I was wondering if someone could help with the definition of an OSIP.
What it stands for would be a good start. Our system of Maintenance says we will use them but I am yet to find someone that knows anything about them.
Are they something that is still used? an example would be great.

Appreciate any help

What aircraft are you on about and in what ATA chapter did you stumble across this acronym?
Anyways looking at it ,It seems as if it's something to do with oil pressure .

When one of the older QF engineers stumbles across this, all will be revealed. A task callout by planning, or similar. Much too long ago for me to remember.

Sounds like it could be "Overhaul Standard Inspection Procedures" to me.

After much searching the good old CASA website came to the rescue (all be it in an obscure page).
It stands for Overhaul and Special Inspection Periods.
I think it was used to define the test procedure when carrying out servicings such as an AD/INST/9

Do I win a prize for being closest?

Thanks for finding that out. I have asked all the oldies at QF and none could answer properly. Lost in the annuls of time.
