type rating application (p-66)

hello there,

Do i need practical experience for a specific aircraft type to have it on my license, or is a course enough ? if practical experience is needed, how much of it is needed for an A320 family ??

i have finished my 4 years for the b1 course but still haven't applied for the license, i finished a A320 course a while back, so in just wondering if i can apply for the license and add the type rating at the same time with very limited practical experience on the A320. on the application form it doesnt say anywhere anything about needing practical experience for adding type ratings, atleast that's what i saw.
