BCAR Section D

Please could anyone with a Knowledge of our old certification system help?

If an aircraft windshield (light turbine twin) was certified under BCAR Section D, Sub sections D3 & D4, what speed would be the critera for certification using a 2lb bird weight used in lieu of the 4lb bird?

Is it a generic speed or one particular to type?

Sorry, but the Feds have removed BCAR's from their website.

Cheers
GR

My advice is to contact your CAA Surveyor and explain what your trying to do and how the lack of BCAR on the website prevents your research!
