Type Rating Convertion
Hi All,
Would apologize if similar/same topics been asked/discussed previously...
Have anyone tried to endorse their foreign type ratings into UK EASA 66 License...??
A few months back, I Sent application to endorse my Hong Kong HKAR-147 Approved Type into my UK EASA 66 LWTR but failed/rejected by CAA.
Anyone in similar situation or have any info on this matter...??
Any info/update/reply would be much appreciated.
Best Regards/

I have an HKAR 66 and HKAR 147 types, I also have an EASA B1 with types.
HKAR 147 type training, (although far better at CX than some UK 147 approved schools!) is not recognised within EASA. So all your HKG training is not valid in EASA land.
It's all in the ELGD documents on the CAA website.
Simple answer, can not!

hi spannersatcx,
just a tought that hong kong standard would be if not the same at least similar close to CAA's. In the past hong kong aviation legislation including licensing sys was a bit like mirror towards CAA's.
anyway appreciate for your reply/info....
