engines with combined starters?

hi all,

wondering if anyone knows of engines with combined elecric and air staters..... seems a waste and over complicated to me.

does RR or PW have or had this system?

The only engine I have worked on is the APU on the B777. It has two starter motors, if air pressure is avail it uses the air starter, if not it uses the electric starter.
