Pats Aux Tanks Sfar 88
I'm trying to figure out the best route to go to deactivate and keep in place my PATS aux tanks? I want to use this as interim solution to meet December deadline of AD prior to full compliance. If the tanks are deactivated, does anyone know how long I could operate aircraft in that configuration? Tanks are installed on B727-200.

According to the FAA, if you have an affected aircraft with an auxiliary fuel system you can continue to fly extended range routes only if you choose one of these options:[/font]
Jetaire has the only STC for all phases of SFAR 88 compliance.
Jetaire has 20 STCs for D-C conversions.
Permanently remove the system from the aircraft
Jetaire has a number of deactivation procedures approved by aircraft certification authorities
D-C upgrade kits for smoke detection and fire suppression and cargo liner replacement solutions.
Contact Jetairegroup.com, they have developed several STCs for SFAR compliance
