Air-gap capacitors

Can anyone suggest where I can find some detailed specification data for common use air-gap capacitors (don't have to be aircraft related)?

Your local electronics hobby store maybe ?

Not to sure about air gap capacitors (Size would make them restrictive?) but you should find the standard , mica, electrolytic or ceramic ones . Should be marked on side with the volt and farad rating.

Try various online electronics stores, e.g. Radiospares, usually they have datasheets for the products in PDF format you can download from their site.
