Books on the subject of (airborne) radar
Hello,
for my work I am looking for a good study book on the subject of radar.
I am looking at it from a military standpoint, and would like to be able to understand the radar principles and be able to make quick calculations, predictions of range, minimal detection area, use in missiles, ECM and so on. I saw that Hughes had a book on airborne radar, but it seemed more a general public approach, not 'hardcore technical/scientific' if you catch my drift.
Amazon came up with a few but I am lost in the choices available.
any suggestions? thank you!

Speaking of free-of-charge publications, I would suggest this (click on the "Handle / proxy Url" link):
Electronic Warfare and Radar Systems Engineering Handbook
You can find other technical documents about military airborne radars here and here. Just keep the "site:oai.dtic.mil handle" part of the search string and use other keywords (like these or these).
