Angel Sr Technics to lose gulf air contract......

Apparently SR Tech have lost a major wide body overhaul contract with Gulf air. They have a maintenance contract that runs until June of this year and have said that they will not be renewing the contract beyond this date.

Looks like they will be heading back to the middle east for their maintenance support. I know that they have invested billions in a maintenance facility in Dubai aviation city .

I think this will have a big impact on jobs at SR facilities at Dublin and Zurich.

Seems strange because they had a 5 year plus contract with the company . I just wonder if the decision is cost or quality based .

?

Sorry but I cannot make out what you are trying to say. Who, in the ME, loses a contract and then heads to the ME for their maintenance? Who owns SRT? Are you talking about GA. Can't work this post out. Please clarify.
