Rescue Services work expereince /Apprenticeship

Hello all, I would like to know if anyone knows if you can get work experience with a Rescue Helicopter Service or with the Royal Flying Doctor Services. I'm currently studying mech/structures. And looking for work experience in SE QLD. Sunshine coast to Gold Coast.

OK so the Royal Flying Doctors contract all there maintenance to third parties. Anyone know who these third parties are?

the rfds do carry out there own maint at some bases but i believe in qld they use hawker pacific. I know that is the case in cairns but don't know about the other bases.
