Runway De-icing

When de-icing/Anti-icing runways, taxi-ways and stands the product used has a less than desirable effect on the stainless and mild steel parts of the vehicles used, so what effect, if any, would this have on aircraft?

None that I know of, the fliud thats used on runways is powerful stuff as opposed to whats sprayed on a/c. Keep in mind that the spray will be diluted as it melts the ice.
