I'd have to say, it doesn't bode well at all.

The whole aviation industry seems to be operating right on the line between safety and profit at the moment.
Which way will it go???

The sad thing is,Is that every company that I have worked for is guilty of this practice. It is a fine line between airworthiness and economics. It is one thing for an experienced mech who knows how far to go,as far as safety of flight items,But for a new guy,it can be a harrowing experience. That is why I am not in aviation maintenance anymore,I could not sell my morals to the empty suits.
