IFE manual & software
I know that is shouldn't really be posting in this section, but i think that i would get a much better answer for my question!
Where can i find a good book/technical manual about IFE systems?
Also, where can i find some examples of airline IFE software?

No prob, ask away, that's how young people come into the Industry 
You could try approaching some of the companies that produce them, do a google search, CAA stuff just covers the technobabble which is not what you are after..

Unfortunately the stuff I work on, In flight Entertainment involves looking out of the window, so I cannot help you on manuals or more info
