Helicopter to Fix Wing Maintenence.
I am a Easa B2 helicopter engineer for 24 years , Type on S61, S92 and Aw139.
Anybody ever change from helicopter to fixwing or vise versa ? How easy is it? Will employer be intersted?

It's just a different tin can to carry your avionics components around the world!
Seriously, I went from Big jets (7yrs) to rotary (17yrs) to mixed fleet corporate (9yrs). The distances between components changes but it's still just wires and boxes.

BTW Check your PMs

I Have moved from fixed wing to rotary and back again with no problems not much difference for B2 engineers only problem i see is getting a company to take you on without any fixed wing types . If you cant find a company just join Storm they are always desperate for B2 engineers
