thanks but,does anyone know where I can find the write up on that.
i mean other than writting to the FAA.

Your B1 with type endorsements will only get you an FAA "sign off" so you can attempt the 3 part FAA exams without going thru class room instructions for the "New kids on the block."

I got UK CAA, SQ DCA, MH DCA and UAE DGCA Section L endorsements for B744/3,777/767/757/737 & A320,330,340 a/c types...almost everything under the sun and when i came over to US all i got was a sign off and had to do the exams.I did get my FAA A&P.

BCAR Sec L when i did it, the syllabus for reciprocating engines,wood and fabric aircraft construction and rotorcraft were not covered. But in FAA A&P's they still are.
