Smile Aircraft Insurance surveyors and adjusters

I suggested someone contact Airclaims.com in another thread from a friend's comments that the job is interesting. Does anyone know what these people actually do ? I hear they are engineers but don't really know.

All of Airclaims Surveyors are Licensed Aircraft Engineers, coming from various airline backgrounds. The job, like any I guess, does have its interesting moments but it also can be quite tedious. It involves a lot of report writing and document review, as well as the more practical stuff of inspecting aircraft and engines.
