B737 Run Up with only one Engine installed?

Hi folks,

any idea, B737:

is it allowable to check (Run Up)
one engine on the ground with
the second engine NOT installed?

Is there any written ref. ?

Thank You,

lolica

Why would you want to ? Not as if you're going to declare it serviceable with one engine missing

- Aircraft prolonge parking with one engine removed.

It is much simpler if you have 2 engine operative...
