Air Engineering Artificer heading for civvy street

Hello everyone,
After 22 years of service as an AEA my brother will be leaving the Royal Navy in the very near future. It is only recently and for very good reasons that he decided to aim for work abroad on rotation, e.g. 8 on, 4 off or whatever similar variations exist, with 'difficult' working environments being very acceptable. Unfortunately he also only recently realised that he needs to do his civvy licence and eventually become typed up, something that he has however started working on.
What is the best and quickest route to achieve this aim, preferably with a helicopter company with international operations?
Many thanks in advance for all your advice.
