Airbus A320-300

Does the Airbus A320-300 have it's own steps for the boarding of 'self loading freight'? Or does it require ground equipment?

As fas as I can remember the "airstair" is an option on the A320 family. Or at least what we were told.

Certainly available, BA's orginal (ex. B/Cal) A320s had them to start with but they have now been removed. Quite heavy I think and a lot of dead weight to carry around all the time.
