B-757/767 tow bars

Hi all,
Does anyone have any expereince with B-757 tow bars? Are the tow bars interchangable on the 57 and 67. I am trying to settle an argument.
I would assume that Boeing would make the adapters the same for both A/C's for commonality and cost reduction. I could be wrong but I did think this was the case.
Anyone have any experience?
Thanks

Due to the length required, the 757 has its' own towbar.

The 767/777 (and some Airbus) share towbars however the shear pins are different strength depending on aircraft.
