Emergency planning study/course/ diploma/degree

Dear all ***** wishing you all at pprune a v happy new year******
Need some Info please. Is there a course, diploma, degree in emergency planing I can do. I would prefer a college/uni/ place where I would go maybe once or twice a week. I am working for an airline at present and want to move into this direction. Any help guidance is most wellcome.

IATA run an "Airline Emergency Planning and Response Management" training course which I can recommend. It is a one week course and unfortunately, like most professional training courses, is not cheap if you plan to do it on your own initiative, but this course does seems to have attendees and recognition from many of the major airlines.
