Maintenance Organisations

M3, E4, M5 etc etc - are these motorways or service stations

But joking aside, what do these number/letter combinationbs signify? I'm assuming that there are far, far more than the 3 examples listed. Is there a document where they are all detailed.

Better still, try the CAA - whose classifications these are!

They are contained in BCAR Section A-8 Approvals (Introduction sheet lists them all)

M1,M3, M5 and E... were BCAR approvals.
They are now JAR / EASA 145 approvals where you need a JAR-66 / EASA part 66 licence!
