technical HELP !!!!!
I have HM40dl headset which I use real world, but i want to use them with my computer, for virtual flying as they are so comfortable . The earphones work OK , but no the mic can anyone help me with some technical info ????

AFAIK, the headset has an electret microphone, which needs either a power supply or powering from ths socket it plugs into. An aeroplane mic socket will normally supply this power, a computer won't. Also the aeroplane socket may be balanced and the computer socket is unbalanced. So its either get an external 48v phantom power supply and adaptor leads or buy a new headset for your computer. Sorry
