F90 Engine overhaul - Whats important?

Gentlemen,
I have recently moved into the right seat of a King Air F90, and accepted additional responsibilities on the management side.
The aircraft is N-registered (previously on JAR register). It is operated in northern Europe for corporate travel with executive staff.

I am now investigating whether it would be an option to have engine overhaul done in the US/ Canada, purely from an economical p.o.w.

My questions are:
What would be considered appropriate approvals from a P & W repair station? (we may wish to register the aircraft in JAR-land someday).

Which would be some keywords in "follow-up" maintenance under guarantee, which would be a normal contractual agreement?

A great many thanks!

--Hope I posted in the right forum...
