Both Mytravel and SRT were advertizing for apprentices at Manchester about a month ago. My friend at MYT says they were inundated though!
I saw the SRT job on thier website.
Good luck

Last weeks and this weeks editions of Flt Int both carry an advert for Monarch Airlines Engineering. Up to 75 staff are required from Lic Eng to trainee. A bit light on details but it does point you in the direction of the recruitment page of their website.

Willing to travel?

If your friend is willing to travel, a few airlines in Ireland take on apprentices. Contact the big players; Ryanair, Cityjet, SRT and Air Atlanta (Shannon)
