I've heared that RAF GSE doesn't have NSN's, is this correct ? If so, how are spares demanded ? MPN etc?

Any info on this subject is appreciated.

I am involved in the ASTOR project and that is indeed the case at present but I have no idea if this will be the case on entry to service however the thoughts We have is that They will retain the MPN.
