.................It does appear intimidating, and can be bit of a daunting task, especially now since all the different subjects have been amalgamated in to some 3 tests. I did it back when each subject was a different test unto itself, and it was just as intimidating then as it is now. But bite your tongue, strap your belt in a bit tighter, grind your teeth a bit harder, and get through it, and you'll be happier for it. Your local transport Canada office will be happy to furnish you with mock test questions, and they do help. Use whatever will work best for you to pass the tests. Rote memory, or in-depth study and immersion in the subject. The real learning begins once you are on the maintenance site and start your hands-on work.

Thank you Brian, now I am using FAA test questions, but heard that they are different from TC's at all. Where did you get that mock test? I've ever asked TC for a mock test questions but they told me No.

RR-CFM,
I used FAA A & P books as study guides and found TC exams questions to be similar, and in some cases, identical. Mind you, this was eight years ago!!
Also, I recommend doing the CAR's exam first...I found it to be the toughest. I took a CAR's night class at BCIT when I did my exams.....highly recommended.
Good luck
