probs with epo unit

Was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with spurious indications from the epo/low rotor warning units fitted to schwizers fitted with a 250 c20w?.I am informed that this unit is also fitted to some MD helicopters with a 250 fitted. We have a unit that seems to give a warning for no reason at all despite all units being exchanged for new/known serviceable parts and all wiring checked and tested. Any thoughts or feedback welcomed.

Re: probs with epo unit

Had a problem on an MD500 a long time ago, traced to the earth on the tacho genny if I remember correctly. It wasn't enough to cause the indicator to flicker but was picked up by the epo.

Good luck!
