Post DME Frequencies

Can anyone give me info on DME frequencies, how channel spacing is split between X and Y, what are the pulse pair timings etc. etc. Each different ref book I look at seems to give part of the picture but not the whole, with some even giving contradictory info.

X frequencies are full decimals i.e 108.1, 108.2 and 108.3 etc, Y frequencies are the 1/2 decimals i.e 108.15, 108.25 and 108.35 etc hopes this helps. i cant remember the exact pulse spacing but the delay time is the same for both

DME operates on frequencies 1050-1200Mhz if my memory serves me correctly. The interrogate and reply frequencies are separated by 63Mhz.

Channels X & Y are not related to the frequency but to the pulse spacing of the interrogation and reply pulse pairs. Ch X is 12 microseconds and Y is 36uS for aircraft interrogation and 30uS on ground equipment reply .
