Heard today from very reliable source, Bernard Hennessy has lost his posn as head of Line Maintenance and been move sideways/downwards to commercial dept. His posn being taken over by that well known Grange Hill character Ro-land.
QA manager swearing as thats another form 4 he has to fill in to get Ro-land named as second accountable manager in almost as many months, becoming embarrassed every time he speaks to Charlie Alpha squared

Yes Benny is a salesman again, and don't forget our Mike (Humpty Dumpy), who is also 'moved' into the Stragegty department, two downward movers , who is on the up ?

Whoever it is, you can be almost sure that he/she didn't quite hack it in previous position! In the services, we used to refer to that as 'sideways promotion'

By the way did you notice that the FLS site is no longer 'membership by invitation only' ??
