Talking HUGE LOOT!!!!

I'm curious about wages/salaries at the moment, as I have mainly worked in the regional market, A$ 80 K is fairly normal now for an avionics technician in OZ. Whats it like overseas for the regionals at the moment?

Try this http://www.amfanow.org/AMT-Wage_Scales.htm for info on what they pay us “amateurs” in the US. Keep in mind that over here an avionics technician is someone who can identify a receptacle from a plug and can wave a multimeter like rosary beads.

5-cats. 80K isn't normal from what I've seen. Try 55-60K as a more realistic figure. You'll definitely get more as a LAME overseas but - you will be expected to work harder than people do in OZ.
