Question Type Rating Course Institutions

Can anyone give me information on any JAR-147 certified institutions that conduct type rating courses. Preferably online CBT courses, but anything will do.

Thanks

Cathay Pacific, covers all the types you mention, however not completely sure if we have 147 as yet, but they are all CAA(UK) approved.

I have just returned from Malaysia, and MAS also will allow outsiders on their courses. I am told a 777 A&C is about 12,000 Ringitt (around 6000 Aus Pesos) Should imagine their Avionincs training is also available (might even get a job, as they are losing LAE's fast), however, am told second hand that the courses are UK CAA approved, but have not confirmed this yet.

I am thinking of doing one myself there, much cheaper than SIN to live, and for the course.

As long as the Course Certificate states that the course is conducted to the standards required by "ATA 104 LEVEL 3" it will be to an acceptible standard for JAR Type rating.
It does not have to be carried out by a JAR 147 Approved institution. If Approved by UKCAA or other major organisations it should be an acceptible course !

No Probs Blue

Good luck on your venture, i hope it proves profitable !!

Advice:-- Get your E & I sorted if you want to be marketable as a JAR Ticket without restrictions is Full E/I/A-P/R-R. The end is nigh for single cat cover !!
