Unhappy Compass Deviation Card

The date, to what does it refer? 1)Date of next test or 2)date of test?

I've done a few 747 swings recently, and it was date of test. Same card is used throughout the fleet (DC-9s to 747-400s)

Of course, your mileage, er, manuals may vary.

Depends on the local regulations I suppose, but all those that I've issued had the date the compass swing was carried out.

The next swing is then due as per Maintenance Schedule unless there is a defect in the meantime.
