Unhappy Night Shift Premium

Hi all, have been asked to see if I can find out what companies pay for working permanent nights . 4on 4 Off would be best but any other shift patterns would be helpful.
I will start by saying
BRAL are Paying £3500.
Anybody else???

easyTech pay something like 10% of regular 2 day/night pay for mon-thurs nights, or I think it's something like 15% for 4 on 4 off nights. In cash terms for a dual licensed engineer that means £3000 or £4,500. For a supervisor it's something like £3,200 or £4,800. Having said all of that salaries are being reviewed at present with a view to moving everyone upward.

Come on lets all be a bit more open with the shift pay around the country.
BALPA quote figures of salary for pilots for all the companies. You would think that we were able to talk about shift pay, after all the days we work are the same so shift pay should reflect that. (Jobs differ so the pay differs )But 4 on 4 off is the same anywhere.
Please help if you can. Thanks for the earlier replies.
Again BRAL pay £3500 for 4 on 4 off perm nights, £3000 for 2day 2 night 4 off, and I think £2000 for 4 on 4 off days.

Yes but where, I have been asked to put together some figures by the guys of the shop floor. So even your input is great.
So what company is that for ??

Truoc, our pay for Mon-Thur (2100-0720) is 4200 this is for hangar/casualty maintenance.
Spanners if you don't receive shift premium does this mean your basic is better, a friend of mine worked at CX (MAN) as a fitter and I thought the money to be not that good.

H721, maybe in HKG but I'm in an outport,
Penn Doff, the money is getting better for fitters, they do get shift pay, and paid o/tnot the best on the airport. As a Licensed Engineer it's not too bad, then again it depends on what you call a good basic. The good thing about my pay is the whole lot is pensionable, it's not broken up into a crap basic plus approval pay etc. I'm only doing the 4 on/off to cover people away on long term courses, I'm only doing it for the time off.

Permanent Nights - There's no amount of money that's worth doing permanent nights. I did it for only two years and it stuffed my health permanently. If you need money that bad, go into drug dealing or gun running. Unless the Mafia are asking you to repay that 25% a month loan, just don't do it - it isn't worth it.
