Most contract work is in Europe and the Middle and Far East. The vast majority of these contracts require an English LWTR, or JAR66 licence. Some Asian contracts accept Australian/New Zealand Licences also.
Try www.luap.com, www.monarch-airlines.com, www.parc.ie and if you subscribe to Flight Magazine, you will find most of them in the rear pages. The Flight magazine web site is also useful, if a little out of date (www.flightinternational.com)
For mostly US, see www.aeps.com or www.climbto350.com

The main thing is to get everything in writing from the agency before leving your current job. I know people who have jacked their current job in only to be told " Sorry the contract has fallen through", also don't expect everything to be as promised from day one. It usually takes a month or two to sort out housing etc.
Make sure you have a credit card with a realistic limit. Also Medical insurance. I saw one engineer come to Malaysia with no credit card. He seemed to think that everyone else should give him loans! He was a Radio engineer.
PARC were very good when 4 of us had to get back from Africa & needed new passports etc.
