Exclamation CHIRP

Has anybody used the UK CHIRP system? Did it really solve the problem you reported or did it get forgotten once your company had fabricated an answer to satisfy the CHIRP enquiry?

Our company was chirped by an engineer.(And it was all fact) It was deemed that serious that the CAA were notified and they paid an official visit with about 5 surveyors (Gave 4 weeks notice that they were coming !!!!!) You would not believe the things that were changed over that period of time.

They came, they went and so did the changes.

All hunky Dorie (Not the Nightclub in Detmold !!!)
Funny thing was no one asked any of the LAE's on the shop floor.

Since then things got worse, so bad that a !!!!! load of LAE's left.

Thanks for the reply Chad Helmuth. Seems that not many of us has used it. Probably because they either suspect like me that it is never followed up on or like you see it as a very short term fix.Trouble is, when you've spent ages pulling your hair out at your own company trying to get problems sorted, it's then almost impossible to remain anonymous once you "CHIRP" it.
