DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SYSTRON-DONNER and KIDDE ENGINE FIRE LOOP SYSTEM

CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SYSTRON-DONNER FIRE LOOP SYSTEM and KIDDE FIRE LOOP SYSTEM WHICH IS INSTALLED ON JT8D-15 ENGINE OF BOEING 737-200 AIRCRAFT.

SYSTRON-DONNER SYS, uses gas reaction to heat.

KIDDE SYS, uses a ceramic cores resistance change to temperature.

Thats the very very basics of it all.
