Angry JAA 66 Licence ?

Ive just got a 66 licence and now totaly confused.
I requested a consideration for exemption to the electrical aspect which I heard nothing, and the licence reflects limitations 1&9 as would be expected. NOW! a friend of mine who has converted his BCAR licence having carried out module 20/21 + the other required modules has the same licence word for word. I can apprieciate that the type ratings I have will have limitations 1&9 as no electrical aspect of the aircraft has been covered on the courses undertaken. So have the CAA given me an exemption or what ? I do know what the solution to my question is but would like to hear from someone else first.

Like the rest of us ignore the who thing and hope the CAA wake up that the whole thing is a not what was intended??? I must admit I dont understand the beginning of it let alone the end? And it looks like the powers that be dont either.

Thanks for the reply Sid, But reality is here and for the future. The thing is due to the lack of responses I guess few people know or care about the new responsibility the `new` licence holds and loss of privlages that also comes with it. Are the days when licenced engineers work as a team and unite ideas gone or are we all looking after ourselves now ?

Question

From what I think you are saying, I think you have got the licence you are qualified for and your friend is the one that needs to speak to the CAA to sort out what he/she is or is not entitled to.

Maybe I'm not reading what you are saying right.
